產品描述：Neutrophils, also known as polymorphonuclear (PMN) leukocytes, are the most abundant type in the whole blood. They are the first line of defense in the immune system against pathogens. There are three ways for neutrophils to perform antibacterial function: phagocytosis, degranulation, or the release of neutrophil extracellular traps (NETs). Increasing evidences suggest that neutrophils also involve in cytokine production, resolution of inflammation, cancer progression and adaptive immune responses. A high neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio (NLR) is often associated with poor prognostic in many malignancies. Recent coronavirus disease 2019outbreak has raised great attention on neutrophils where the NETs may contribute to organ damage and mortality.

AcceGen Human pb neutrophils are isolated from peripheral blood of fully consented IRB approved donors. Cells are cryopreserved immediately after isolation to ensure highest viability. Each vial contains more than 10 million cells. Human peripheral blood neutrophils are isolated by negative immunomagnetic selection and characterized with the cell surface marker CD16+CD45+CD66b+. All cell lots are tested negative for HIV-1, HBV, HCV and other pathogens. Cells should be preserved in Liquid Nitrogen vapor phase upon receipt.
